At the age of 25 Edwin has dedicated the majority of his life to the love of the theatre and in particular performing. When Ed’s not on the stage he’s usually busy with his other interests, skiing, swimming, running.

 

Edwin’s interest in the theatre was cultivated at school where he found devising, writing and performing in his own brand of goofball comedy the best way to get through all those tedious history lessons! At Sixth Form College and then at University, Ed developed his passion for all theatre; comic, serious and classic.

 

Edwin attended the University of Wales at Aberystwyth. Whilst there he immersed himself in department life and took every opportunity to act. He appeared in the Arts Centre Pantomime for three years running. Also as the course progressed he found he was cast in more and more major productions as the leading actor.

 

After graduating Ed chose to pursue an acting career in earnest and decided to get an actor training. He has spent three years at the world-renowned GSA Conservatoire sharpening his acting technique and developing his movement skills. Also he has learnt various styles of social dancing, ballroom and historical.
Ed has been trained in Stage Combat to BADC level 2. GSA has also developed Ed’s previously unfound talent as a baritone singer.

 

Now that he has graduated Edwin is enjoying success as a professional actor working on stage and the screen.
